Privacy at PONI

Last updated: October 17, 2026

A brand that teaches privacy should practice it. So here's exactly what happens when you visit beaponi.com, in plain language. This page covers beaponi.com only. Sites we link to, including Instagram, have their own privacy policies.

The short version

What we collect, and why

1. Basic visit counts. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see things like how many people visited, which pages were read, and the general browser, device type, and country of visits. Cloudflare states that it doesn't use cookies or other storage in your browser for this, and doesn't fingerprint visitors. We see only totals, never individual visitors.

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. If Cloudflare ever needs to check for automated attacks, it may set a short-lived security cookie for that purpose only. Why: to learn which lessons are actually helpful.

2. Standard server and security logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information such as your IP address and browser type to deliver pages and block attacks. Why: to keep the site running and secure. We don't use this information to profile visitors.

3. Emails you send us. If you write to [email protected] or [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include. Our email forwarding service, SimpleLogin (part of Proton), passes it to our email provider, Proton Mail, which stores it in our inbox. Why: to answer you, and to fix any error you report. We don't put your emails or personal details into AI tools.

Please don't send passwords, account numbers, Social Security numbers, ID documents, or details of a scam you're dealing with. PONI is an education resource, not a helpline. We can't investigate individual cases or recover money. If you've been scammed, report it at reportfraud.ftc.gov and contact your bank.

That's all. No forms, no comments, no newsletter, no accounts, no ads, no embedded videos, no payments.

Who we share it with

How long we keep it

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We don't track you across sites, so there's nothing for these browser signals to switch off. The site behaves the same either way.

Children

PONI's content is written for adults, including parents and caregivers. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has emailed us, let us know and we'll delete it.

Your choices and rights

Security

We protect our accounts with two-step login and keep what we collect to a minimum, because the safest data is data we never had. No system is perfectly secure, and we won't pretend otherwise. If a security incident exposes personal information you sent us, we'll tell the people affected, in plain language.

Educational information only

PONI offers general digital-safety education. It isn't legal, financial, or professional security advice for your specific situation. Technology and scams change quickly, so check current guidance and get professional help for high-risk situations.

Changes

If what this site collects changes, for example if we add a newsletter, we'll update this page before the change goes live and change the date at the top.
